Two days ago Bella was hit by a car and left helpless in the middle of the street. Fortunately, my husband happened to drive on the same street shortly after the incident, so he saw the injured cat and took her to the vet. The doctor said Bella had a luxated joint on one of her rear paws, and prescribed some injection treatment for a week. We managed to find a kind lady who agreed to take care of the poor cat till the cat recovers. The prognosis were good, and we were told Bella would get better soon. It seemed the happy ending was near.
Until yesterday.
It turned out that Bella suffered the accident far more seriously than it initially seemed. She showed a nerve tissue injury which results in her inability to perform her natural functions without human help. This condition may last forever, or it may improve later - nobody can tell.
The lady who's currently taking care of Bella can keep her till Christmas. So, Bella is now in urgent need of a home.
She needs a kind and responsible person who will love her and take care of her till death them do part. She will give to her adopter all the tenderness and gratitude a cat can give. She's nice and caressing, and gentle, and sweet, and purring, and lovely. She's maybe 5 or 6 years of age. If you are interested of Bella, please contact me at kim.vassy@gmail.com.
Well, there's a piece of good news in this sad story, however. Bella's paw is really getting better and she's already able to stand. Soon will she run again, we believe.
